The Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) Committee monitors strategies and funding as implementation progresses relative to NRP priorities and plans identified in the Phase II Action Plan of 2011, and makes revisions, subject to constraints (e.g., contract with the City of Minneapolis and other requirements), and engages in follow-up evaluation efforts. Strategy areas and allocations are: (1) Housing $ 172,100; (2) Crime & Safety
$21,500; (3) Community Building & Services $ 9,100 ; (4) Environment $ 6,600; (5) Parkland $21,200; and (6) Implementation $ 25,000.

The East Isles NRP program offered a low-interest loan to help finance affordable housing and the revitalization of the NW corner of E Franklin and Portland avenues in Minneapolis. Read about the project in this Star Tribune article (November 22, 2014).
