As part of the new planning process for the Lake of the Isles and Cedar Lake parks, the East Isles Residents’ Association (EIRA) is partnering with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB), the Kenwood Neighborhood Association, the Cedar-Isles-Dean Neighborhood Association, and the Cedar Lake Park Association to offer a listening session to neighbors who live near Lake of the Isles and Cedar Lake. MPRB staff and members of the newly appointed Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) will be attending.
The listening session will be held virtually, on Tuesday, April 14 from 7-9 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. the meeting will open with a chance for neighbors to talk about what they value about the area, what their vision is for these parks, and any concerns they have. At 8:00 p.m. there will be a short presentation from MPRB staff and neighborhood leaders on the recent history of improvements to these parks. After the presentation there will be more time for comments. For more information and to RSVP for the listening session, please click here.
We hope you can join us.
