Announcing the Palio Winter Games — East Isles Blue Raccoons come out of Hibernation!

For three decades, Lake of the Isles neighbors of all ages gathered annually to proudly show off their neighborhood colors and mascots. This winter, the tradition of friendly neighborhood rivalry continues — East Isles Blue Raccoons, Kenwood Red Egrets and Lowry Hill Green Turtles will march again and compete in winter games, including hockey and figure skating on Lake of the Isles. Stave off the chilly air around roaring bonfires, share treats and warm drinks as you visit and exchange stories with old and new neighbors.

Save the Date: Sunday, January 29, 2023 • 1:30pm to 4pm
All East Isles residents are welcome to gather at 1:30pm at Triangle Park to show off neighborhood spirit as East Isles Blue Raccoons. Don your raccoon masks and tails, wear lots of blue — mittens, hats, sweaters, jackets. We will march together to the Winter Games.

Watch for a special email and article in the Hill and Lake Press for the Palio story. We look forward to kicking off the New Year with all of you and showing Lowry Hill and Kenwood…well, you know the rest!
