Market Day Staff

Market Day Staff are essential members of the day-of farmers market team. They will assist the Market Manager in running a functional, safe, community-focused market on Thursday evenings. UFM is seeking four Market Day Staff who will work approximately 7-8 hours per week.

The primary shift is every Thursday from 2pm - 9pm. The farmers market runs Thursday evenings from 4pm - 8pm, June 11 - Sept 24, 2026. Hours may vary slightly, and there may be additional opportunities for hours outside of the primary shift (such as supply runs or staff trainings).

We're in need of volunteers to help us create another successful season! Our volunteers make an incredible impact, not only in helping the market run smoothly each week, but also in building a strong sense of community pride in Uptown.

Volunteers get a snazzy "Market Crew" t-shirt and join our Market Staff in putting on an incredible weekly market in the heart of Uptown. Day-of volunteer opportunities include:

  • Market Setup & Vendor Load-In (2-4pm)

  • Market Info Booth (4-6pm and/or 6-8pm)

  • Welcoming Committee (4-6pm and/or 6-8pm)

  • Clean Up & Vendor Load-Out (8-9pm)
