  • Electronic Musical equipment

  • Networking equipment (routers, switches, etc.)

  • CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes (original media only)

  • Alkaline batteries

*NOT ACCEPTED: light bulbs, lithium batteries, appliances (no microwaves, mini fridges, etc.)

Free Geek Twin Cities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, part of a network of Free Geek organizations throughout the country. Since 2010, our team has endeavored to keep electronics out of landfills through sustainable electronics reuse, providing technology access and digital literacy education to our community in the Twin Cities and beyond.


Seller Information

Sale registration closes Friday, Sept. 11, 11pm.  Residents within the sale neighborhoods can register for $20, which gets you:

  1. Sale listing on the interactive online map.

  2. Super Sale advertising and social media promotion.

  3. Official SALE HERE lawn sign. Sign pickup is Wednesday, Sept. 16, 5–7pm in your neighborhood.

  4. Option to have unsold items picked up for donation by Disabled American Veterans. Pickup is Monday, Sept. 21:

    • Please place all donation items on your front curb by 6am.

    • Does not cover all items—list of exceptions here.

Too busy to have your own sale? Donate items to a benefit sale for East Isles Neighborhood Assn (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit). Contact Ellen to arrange a dropoff!
