Tending Together

  • The Grief Room 1854 Grand Avenue Saint Paul, MN, 55105 (map)

From the Grief Room:

“Let your heart break so your spirit doesn’t.”
–Andrea Gibson✨

“Without community, there is no liberation.”
–Audre Lorde ✨

Next month, I am delighted to facilitate a drop-in community art ritual in the new Grief Room studio space exploring ways we can honor what is breaking/has broken/needs to break in this collective moment, right alongside what is bringing us together.

I love art and the way it invites us out of our heads and into our bodies and sensations with tangible form. I love ritual, and Katherine May’s definition of reclaiming ritual in our everyday as a ‘conscious, intentional, and repetitive action that embeds meaning into daily life, allowing us to connect with our surroundings and process emotions.’ Together, we’ll explore both.

Looking forward to tending with you,
–Kenlee, The Grief Room
